Largest issue - the device will not take fingerprint scans. We downloaded the SDK softwares to the latest version and the device will not capture prints. Connects to PC fine (USB 2.0 port) and powers on (shows LED light).

The scanner powers on, it scans properly, but the connection gets lost if the USB cable gets moved when connected. The scanner has minor scratches, the scanning area has a small faded spot, see photos.

The scanner does power on when plugged in, but it is not recognized by the software, the USB port may be defective. No exceptions. We have a limited knowledge of their prior use.
