You can find detailed info on this scanner on the manufacturer's site. The glass surface has micro scratches from use, but it doesn't affect the scans at all. The biggest issue I see is that there are few hardly visible vertical hair lines on the scans, best visible when you make a color scan of a pure white paper in high resolution.
